The Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) has mandated
that all DOT Physical Examinations must be conducted by a Certified
Medical Examiner (CME) effective May 21, 2014. Kingston WoRx has
prepared this informational packet to assist you in preparing for your
DOT Physical. Please read it carefully and engage your Primary Care
Physician (PCP) to fully complete any necessary paperwork required for
you to qualify for a Medical Examiners Certificate (MEC) before your
appointment. CME’s are held accountable for following the regulations
and obtaining the medical clearance information set forth by the FMCSA
when conducting examinations. Required paperwork
must accompany you to your physical appointment in order for you to
qualify. If you have any questions about what might be required for your
physical, please contact us at 845.331.7751.
