Kyle Goldberg Turning Point Program at MidHudson Regional Hospital
Individualized, expert treatment for the chemically dependent
The Kyle Goldberg Turning Point Program at MidHudson Regional Hospital is a comprehensive not-for-profit chemical dependency treatment program in Dutchess County, New York. Established in 1985, Turning Point provides inpatient medically managed detoxification from alcohol and all other types of substances as well as inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and a variety of specialized intensive outpatient programs, outpatient counseling, and groups. All services are licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).
The program provides a structure that will allow the individual to regain control of his or her environment by participating in daily activities and making positive decisions regarding the use of leisure time. The aim is to allow the patient to function with a measure of success that will result in a greater ability to take control and responsibility for daily living.
Chemical dependency is a family disease. Turning Point believes in outreach to families and supportive friends and co-workers. We respond to the needs of affected children and address family dynamics that are associated with addictions.
As a full-care treatment center, we teach sobriety through hope, dignity and respect. We focus on the whole person through physical, psychological and spiritual health and emphasize the need for support to live a full and healthy life.
